Acupuncture Services

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medical modality designed to improve the circulation of energy (qi) in the body. It has been practiced in clinical settings for therapeutic purposes for more than 2,000 years. Very fine needles are gently inserted into specific anatomic points located along 12 major pathways (meridians). These meridians correspond to the internal organs, as well as specific areas of the body. Stimulation of these points helps correct and restore the flow of energy – relieving pain and restoring mental and physical health. It is quite common that patients find the treatments to be relaxing, energizing and enjoyable. Acupuncture treatments are generally painless and without side effects.

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institute of Health (NIH) recognize the ability of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture to treat nearly 50 medical conditions/common ailments including: Frequently Asked Questions About Acupuncture.
